Girls Program Coaches
PAIGE CLAYTON
7/8 Girls Coach
Coach Paige is beginning her third year as the 7/8th grade girls coach. She is 2015 Wooster High School graduate, and played lacrosse through all four years at WHS. After studying at Ohio University, Paige works for the Certified Angus Beef brand in Wooster and serves as the Director of the Wooster High School Alumni and Friends Association.

Ryan Smith
7/8 Girls Coach
Coach Smith has been a part of the Wooster Lacrosse Club since 2016, when his son started playing. He started coaching girls lacrosse in 2019 after his daughter started playing also. Coach Smith was a track and field athlete in college and coached track and field for several years. Coach Smith enjoys working with and teaching children and young adults as he is an educator for Wooster City Schools.

5/6 Girls Coach
Coach Juli is a Wooster High School graduate from the Class of 2020. She started playing lacrosse in the 7th grade with the WLC. She continued to play through high school. Her freshman year, Juli switched from playing defender to goalie. She is currently working on getting her degree in Human Services.
Megan Hackett
3/4 Girls Coach
Coach Hackett has been involved with the Wooster Lacrosse Club for the past 7 years. She has enjoyed watching her girls grow in the program and is excited to coach other girls that love the sport of lacrosse
Jeremy Pope
3/4 Girls Coach
This is Jeremy's 3rd year being involved with Wooster Lacrosse Club coaching the 3/4 girls, he has 2 daughters on the team. His oldest daughter has been playing lacrosse since 1st grade and youngest since Kindergarten. Jeremy has been a student of the women's lacrosse game since the 2000s watching his wife play. He has stayed up to date with the game as his wife is the Varsity coach at WHS and she has been coaching girls' lacrosse for the past 16 years. Jeremy is excited to improve the Wooster girls' program and help showcase girls' lacrosse.

Cranksters Coach
Coach Schmitz has been with the WLC for 4 years. She played lacrosse through high school at Wooster and for Buffalo State College. Coach Schmitz also coached at the high school level in Westerville for 10+ years. She is excited to work with the youngest girls on learning the game of lacrosse.
Boys Program Coaches
LEE THOMAS
7/8 Boys Coach
Coach Thomas is a Wooster native and Wooster Lacrosse alumnus. He played for WHS from 1997-1999 and WVU Club Lacrosse. He has coached for the Wooster Lacrosse Club since 2014 and has one boy playing in the club and one at the high school level.
Chuck Neyhart
7/8 Boys Coach
Coach Neyhart is a Wooster native and Wooster Lacross alumnus. He played for WHC for 4 years and graduated in 1998. He was a 4-year letter winner and was part of the Division II State Championship Team. He coached the middle school from 2003-2006 and returned to coaching in 2018 for the Wooster Lacross Club. He has one son playing in the club.
Chad Kauffman
5/6 Boys Coach
Coach Kauffman is a native of Wooster. He played for Wooster High School from 1991-1995. He has been coaching since 2013 and has coached 3/4,5/6 and 7/8th grade boys. His youngest son is a part of the 5/6 team.

Cameron Flint
Cameron Flint has been part of the Wooster Lacrosse Club for four years as a parent, equipment manager, and most recently as the Secretary. New to the sport of lacrosse when his oldest son joined the WLC, he has fallen in love with the sport and the positive impact it has on the lives of young men and women in the Wooster community. Drawing upon his two decades of high school teaching experience and working with various youth groups he enjoys his role helping the WLC Board of Directors provide a great experience for the kids.
Scott Pycraft
3/4 Boys Coach
Scott Pycraft is a Wooster native and Wooster Lacrosse alumnus. He played for WHS from 1999-2002. He has coached for the Wooster Lacrosse Club since 2023 and has a boy and a girl participating in the Club. He is excited to work with the 3/4 boys on learning the game of lacrosse.
Matt Gajda
Cranksters Coach
Matt has been a part of the Wooster community for 25 years. He has two children in the WLC and is new to the sport. He is quickly learning by attending practices and is also an assistant Crankster coach. He has experience with service to the commuity and looks forward to helping the WLC.
