Meet Our Coaches
Girls Program Coaches
Coach Megan played basketball and volleyball in high school, but has learned a lot about the game coaching her daughter’s team. Her son has been involved in Cranksters as well.
Coach Hackett has been involved with the Wooster Lacrosse Club for the past three years. She has enjoyed watching her girls grow in the program and is excited to coach other girls that love the sport of lacrosse
Coach Cindy is an Elementary school teacher at Wooster City Schools and has been coaching girls lacrosse for the WLC for 4 years. Her daughter is on the club’s 7/8 grade team.
Boys Program Coaches
Coach Sam Carmony was a two year letter winner for the Wooster High School Varsity Boys Team, Team Captain of the 2002 State Championship Team, 1st Team All-Ohio, 1st Team All-MSLA and Honorable Mention in the Great Cleveland League. At the College of Wooster he was two year Team Captain, Honorable Mention All-NCAC, and led Scots to their first and only NCAC Championship and NCAA playoff berth. Prior to becoming a full-time farmer, he was a teacher, assistant wrestling and football coach, and head lacrosse coach at Jackson-Massillon High School. Currently he assists with the Varsity program and enjoys coaching WLC youth boys teams. He has two dogs Watson and Auzzy.
Coach Delaney was a 4 year letter winner, 2 year captain and all-OAC selection at Wilmington College. He lead the conference in points and goals as a senior, and holds various school records. Post Wilmington College, he coached at Capital University for 2 seasons, while directing various youth camps in Columbus. Prior to college, Coach Delaney was a 3 year letter winner and captain for Wooster High School from 2009-2013.
Coach Andrew Carmony is a WHS Alumnus. He has two children, the eldest is a defender on a WLC team. He brings the love of the sport and 20 years of US Army mentoring experience to the staff.
Coach Webster was a Wooster Lacrosse Club three year varsity letterman and team captain playing attack under club founders John Madden and Rod Korba in the early 1990s. He has two sons playing lacrosse, one as a goalie for the WLC and the other as an attackman for Wooster High School.
Coach Thomas is a Wooster native and Wooster Lacrosse alumnus. He played for WHS from 1997-1999 and WVU Club Lacrosse. He has coached for the Wooster Lacrosse Club since 2014 and has two boys playing in the club as well.
Coach Flint has been involved with the Wooster Lacrosse Club for four years, two as an assistant coach for the Boys 5th-6th grade team and one helping with the Little Cranksters. He has two sons playing lacrosse, one as a midfielder for the WLC and the other an aspiring attackman for the Little Cranksters.
Coach Kauffman played midfield for Wooster High School. He was a three year varsity letterman and named First Team All Ohio his senior year. He was recruited by several division 1 and division 3 college teams.
